14 weeks later...

It was late November when we showed you the very beginning of this project. (CLIC to fresh up your memory). Also we promised to show the ready product within weeks. Well, yes it is a bit later. But first we had Dutch Santa Claus, then X-mas, then thundering East- Netherlands NewYear (x-treme danger for ignorant tourists; they shoot here 5-lbs iron caps from milk containers making use of vintage carbid...Click here to find a short mpeg-movie 'Filmpje'; ItKin.nl ). But when everybody had survived all this, they decided to finish the project. Ok, yes -you are right- on this photos it is not fully ready (the front cyclewing is only 'sleeping' on the tyre, but believe us, it is ready. More than that, #1 is sold & gone and # 2 is under construction. Check out Nr. 1 while in our coachwork section (clic). The Jansen Coachbuilders don't make a big fuss about the original craftmanship of the Ulster body. In their view it should look just right and it should have strenght, speed and affordability. That's why it is made in full alloy including full alloy 'ash-framing'. This type of constructing was mastered in the truck coachbuilding business. Still Father & Son Jansen don't need our truckload of words to explain all this. They just do.
