A very fine Speed Twenty-Five featuring a 4-door Cross & Ellis 'Open Tourer' body mounted on a steel chassis. As far as can be seen, the bodywork is completely free of damage and underwent a full restoration in the past.
It is powered by the renowned 3,571 cc, water-cooled, inline-six engine.
The engine is equipped with three SU carburetors. It was fully overhauled some time ago, and the head gasket was replaced a few years back. All this work was carried out to a high, professional standard, and the vehicle remains in excellent condition.
Engine number: 14842 25.6; this is documented as matching the chassis number of this specific Alvis.
It features a 4-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels. Notably for its model year, the gearbox is factory-equipped with synchromesh.
This Alvis is fitted with mechanically operated drum brakes on all four wheels.
The braking system is unassisted (non-servo). The handbrake operates mechanically on the rear wheels. The braking system is in good condition and has been well maintained in recent years.

The leather upholstery is light gray, and the seats are manually adjustable. The door panels are trimmed in light gray leather, complemented by a light gray carpet set. The entire interior was reupholstered some time ago and remains in beautiful, well-maintained condition.
The dashboard is entirely original and complete, featuring a full set of gauges.
The chrome trim is original and in good condition.
