A Grahame Page ????

It's not a Graham Paige and no editor's typos either. Just a silly joke referring to a 50 year's! MG VA ownership of Mr Grahame Page. Sorry for that Grahame! Probably not the first time this is happening... Bas de Voogd reports: "One of the familiar faces during last weeks meeting of large pre war MG's was Grahame Page from Colchester GB. Grahame who will be 79 years next month inherited this MG VA sports saloon from his father in 1954. Mr Page senior who owned two Morris and MG dealerships in Colchester and Bexhill on Sea had this particular car unsold in the showroom when war broke out in 1939. He was faced with the choice too either sell it or loose the car to public service. A solution was found in buying it himself for private use and so he did untill his death in 1954. After a fairly busy life in the fifties the car did not see much use after that and is still in as new unrestored condition.
