We found this part with photos of a 1904 Studebaker in my dads old house. Is this a part of a Studebaker? Any information would be much appreciated

Wagner is an electric components producer that still exists, and they still produce starter motors for cars, the firm started producing electric motors before the turn of the century (the previous one).
The one you show is a starter made to retrofit on older cars, the chain sprocket is the tell tale sign, it was made to convert a hand cranked car to electric start and probably dates from around 1916, when electric starters started to appear on new cars as an option and people wanted to convert their older cars to electric start. The starter could have been mounted on any car, the bracket that is mounted to it should be the clue to the car, it probably is type specific for one car model and year, good luck finding the car !!
