Made on a 2mm Stainless Steel armature the rim is composed of 32 octagonal pieces of Indian rosewood, the two inner layers of eight pieces each are secret dowelled thro the S/S, then the two outer layers cover the dowels. Probably French as it came from there recently and is of French Walnut I believe.355mm diameter (c.14") on a three spoke aluminium armature with a tapered central hole 30mm -25mm. Dished 50mm.
