I believe this lamp was manufactered by 'Fewuor', though the script is so complex it is hard to tell! (Could possible be Pewuor, Rewuor or Flewuor). It appears to date from the early 1920's, though I am aware that this sort of lamp was manufactured well after this date.I believe that it is for a motorcycle as it requires a separate acetylene genera..

A complete and unrestored acetylene lamp manufactured at StEtienne by a firm that I can only identify as 'MF'.There is also a legend that appears to say ' Dahmesit cycles'.I am afraid that I had to clean the makers plate to even find this out.Apart from a broken glass and a possible fracture to the reflector situated behind the burner, the lamp is ..
