A rare Veteran Penny Farthing Rear wheel. Bronze hub probably made by W. Bown. The wonderfully named ‘The Aeolus’. c. 1880 in date. The rim is very poor having suffered the perils of time. The hub bearings are cones, so no ball bearings. These appear to be reasonable and the hub should be serviceable. Very scarce. The rim is 18” diameter allowing f..

This is a Riley 9 engine that I rebuilt as a spare when I had Riley 9 cars the engine has new pistons and has been white metalled, ther is a small repair to the block on the offside,  (see photo) this is where a conrod let go and came through the repair works and is water and oil tight.Price reduced to accomadate repair
