540 K Convertible A , 1938 , Chassis Number 169407 , perfectly restored
on a very good basis ( car stood in Harrah`s Automobile Collection for a long time ).
During the restoration a power steering was fitted to the car – the original steering box

This 540 K was completely restored by a reputable German specialist and did only a few careful miles since. Based on a B-Convertible the car was carefully rebuild to become a Special-Roadster over a period of 8 years. The condition can only be described as concours!
Specification: Straight 6-cylinder, shaft driven overhead camshaft, 7.280 ccm, 90 hp, 4-speed box. The engine is closely related to the Grand-Prix engines and WW 1 aero engines developed by Paul Daimler. This 28/95 was extensively restored a few years ago and presents itself in outstanding condition.
The car has spend its whole life in Scandinavia and has a complete history concerning its previous owners. From the 60's until the 90's it was part of a museum and recommis-sioned afterwards: new paintwork, new interior and engine rebuild (5000 km since).
Engine 3,5 CV De Dion Button. Without brakes in the front; running well. The production of Wacheux in Calais lasted from 1903 to 1905. This is the only one known off still being around.
The 320n is the short chassis version of the 320. It looks much more sportive as it also comes with wings similar to those of the "Spezial-Roadster". Only 7 examples are known worldwide. This car was restored by one of the most reputable special-ists in Germany to the highest standards.
