Due to its sportive looks the 370 S Mannheim was soon regarded as the “little brother†of the famous Mercedes SS. Even the works racing driver Rudolf Caracciola owned a 370 S Mannheim for private purposes. The history of this car is well documented. In 2004/2006 it was professionally restored to a very high standard.

This 540 K was completely restored by a reputable German specialist and did only a few careful miles since. Based on a B-Convertible the car was carefully rebuild to become a Special-Roadster over a period of 8 years. The condition can only be described as concours!
The car has spend its whole life in Scandinavia and has a complete history concerning its previous owners. From the 60's until the 90's it was part of a museum and recommis-sioned afterwards: new paintwork, new interior and engine rebuild (5000 km since).
Specification: Straight 6-cylinder, shaft driven overhead camshaft, 7.280 ccm, 90 hp, 4-speed box. The engine is closely related to the Grand-Prix engines and WW 1 aero engines developed by Paul Daimler. This 28/95 was extensively restored a few years ago and presents itself in outstanding condition.
