A report by Ram Kiran: August 15th was the day India celebrated its 62nd Independence day. An apt occasion for Deccan Heritage Automobile Association to organize its annual Vintage Car and Motorcycle display, this time in the 200 year old Chowmahalla Palace in Hyderabad. The line up of vintage cars included some rare classics such as the 1925 Austin Sevens of the Shadan Group and a 1934 Austin Six. A rare 1935 Packard soon came in majestically and this was followed by a 1929 Citroën. While the vintage cars stole the attraction, the two-wheeled beauties also started rolling in slowly into the Band stand gardens. All in all more than 75 vintage motorcycles lined up ranging from Nortons, Triumphs, BSA, 1944 Indian Cow, Enfield and Harley Davidson. (photos Pulsar56)
