Press release
Following the success of last year’s celebrations at Woodland Grange, we have decided to do it all again so, on behalf of the members and directors of the Pre-1940 Triumph Motor Club, I would like to invite you to join us on Sunday, June 22nd. The lovely venue of Woodland Grange at Leamington Spa proved an ideal location, being easy to find and with splendid grounds to accommodate car gatherings of this sort. So, please come and help us celebrate our combined heritage in this most appropriate of settings.
You are encouraged to bring your treasured Triumph and Standard cars and join us for a relaxed day in the manicured surroundings. This year you are encouraged to bring your own picnic as we will not be organising our usual hog-roast. As a club, we are planning to lay on a coffee-and-cakes stall and we have booked our regular ice cream lady who always provides wonderful examples of that locally-made delicacy!
Entrance is free and many of the first arriving will receive a programme and a magnetic plaque as a memento of the day. We also invite you to enjoy and support some period entertainment from local musicians and, as always, provide some discerning judgement by voting in the Club’s Pre-1940 Concours competition, our “Founder’s Plate.” A warm welcome awaits you at this very special gathering. Please join us if you can.
