An Old Motoring Scrapbook

You may remember that we wrote about the massive book ‘Vintage Advertising-Old Automobiles’ by Norm Clark last year. During the almost five years of research for the book, he came across hundreds of images that appealed to him in various ways: odd facts, photographs, and illustrations that just didn’t fit the concept of his book, but were still very much part of Automotive History. Norm has now put all those pictures on a CD with his comments. There are hundreds of them. Like this early drawing of Sabattier showing a giant dinner for the Mayors of France, where the organizers used an automobile to traverse the enormous marquee. But there’s also later stuff like this funny photo. It’s not ‘themed’, it’s simply a collection as in any other scrapbook. We liked it!
