Another era, another Miglia.

Within a month from now the rich and famous will come together in Brescia to start for the best Dine & Drive (1000 Miles for Connoisseurs) of the season. How different the Mille Miglia must have been in the days when it was a real race over 1000 miles of mostly unpaved roads. This never earlier published photo of famous OM-driver Nando Minoia is showing a bemudded OM Superba and a tired man in a sloppy overall (the ropeknot in his overall strap is 90% of the story). Check the enlargement. It's a man in his job and he is good in it. The photo is one of an exhibition by the Negri Foundation about the the conjunction Brescia - OM - Mille Miglia.
