I was astonished because of the headlights of the Bugatti: I never saw an atalante with these high positioned lights.

The model was made thirty years ago. Based on a few photos I had of the car at the time. Also, pictures were used of the car how it looked like more than thirty or even more than forty years ago. These photos differs from what the car looks like now. Moreover, they were black-and-white images and at that time there was a limited number of colors in Lego. Hence.

This also applies to the yellow and black 1932 Duesenberg SJ, which now also looks different from the images I had of the car at the time.

If I may ask, the day #6 Rolls in the Lego model has covered rear wheels but the stated chassis 3CM61 while having the same color scheme does not have covered real wheels....A few Park Wards were covered however. Has the stated car been modified or liberties with the model taken?
