At the Shah's garage

During a recent chat about Hispano Suizas with Jack Braam Ruben this 1931 J12 all wheather tourer by Saoutchik  came up. When he saw the car he was delighted as he remembered the car as being photographed by  his father in 1959 during a visit to the Shah. It was this year that the Shah married Farah Diba. Oh..., times have changed since then.
Could this be the very same car? It seems logical, as how many J12 were bodied in this style by Saoutchik. The general appearance is identical, yet the headlamp mountings and front bumper are quite different. Was the car changed over time or is the current 'face' the product of a more recent concours motivated 'upgrade' ?
Having said that and now that we got your attention. Can you give a glance to the car on the right and give your opinion about that one?

The car on the right is the 1930 Pierce-Arrow Brunn bodied Town Car custom built for the Riza Khan at a cost of over $30,000 dollars. It originally had gold plated chrome and semi precious stones embedded in the royal crests on the side doors.
