Press release
Following the success of our Spring Social event in May, we have decided to hold an End of Season Social at Dewstow Gardens & Grottoes in Caerwent, south Wales. The invitation is extended to other car clubs, encouraging all classic cars, regardless of make, model or year to join us in sharing our passion.
Dewstow Gardens was created around the turn of the century by James Pulham & Sons, landscapers, rock builders and garden designers. The gardens were buried in the 1940s when the ground was turned over to agriculture for the war effort. The grottoes were rediscovered, purely by accident, in the early 2000s, leading to the restoration of the gardens, grottoes and ponds. After over 20 years of operation, the owners have made the decision to retire and close the gardens to visitors, so this is likely to be your last chance to visit. It is certainly worth it!
There is a café onsite serving drinks and snacks, feel free to bring along a picnic
Entry to the gardens is £7.50 per person. Those wishing to take advantage of the discounted rate should complete the entry form here: https://forms.gle/knijgAENyxEnazeu5 by Monday, August 26th. Please do not arrive before ten o'clock.
We look forward to seeing you there!
