Beaulieu Autojumble comes this year with a challenge!

The famous Beaulieu Autojumble is an event we look forward to for months. Meeting old friends and making new ones, finding that one desperate needed part (or other “must haves”, as you tell your wife later) or buying something at the Bonhams auction. Always so much to do and on Sunday evening we have the feeling that we still need an extra couple of days to do the rest. Beaulieu exudes an air of joy and pleasure.

Just like the years before, PreWarCar.com will have a stand at Red field. You can find us at R706/707. And this time, you can not only stop by for a chat but we also need your help!

We will be bringing a fantastic looking, oily rag proof – Lancia Augusta. This car hasn’t run for years and the challenge is to bring it back to life. We will pick it up on the way to the event and hope to find a new owner who will cherish it afterwards.

Finding parts would be easy at Beaulieu as the engine is an MG A type. And you know their slogan “If you can’t find it at Beaulieu it doesn’t exist!”

We invited our friends from the PreWar Workshop to come with us and asked them to help us make the Lancia running again before the end of the weekend. Sounds like a piece of a cake, doesn’t it? So, please come over and give us a hand.

Do we think this will be easy? No. Do we think it will be a lot of fun? Definitely!
