Beaulieu treasures

Although cloudy, with just a little speck of rain on Saturday morning, the Beaulieu Autojumble held last weekend seems to have been more crowded than ever. Even the overflow carpark was fully occupied. But all visitors had a good reason for being there as the 2000 plus stallholders presented bargains for everyone. Well, maybe not for everyone, as some parts had become awfully expensive. There were not only parts, but also lots of cars. We especially liked this 2.75 hp one-cylinder 1903 Humber Olympia tandem, that wasn’t even unloaded from its trailer, as it sold very quickly. Surely it could be a competitor in the next London to Brighton? (text and photo’s Rutger Booy)
