Model T racing seems all the rage today, judging by the number of photos of speeding T’s we receive. This one was taken during ‘The great Remembrance Race’, held in San Luis Potosí, Mexico early September. According to organizer Fernando Hermosillo it was a great success. Thirty prewar cars plus almost ten thousand spectators in downtown San Luis Potosí watching the race. The oldest participating car was a Panhard Levassor dating from 1898. The winner was Guillermo Acevedo with a 1923 Ford model T Speedster that practically flew. Of course the others were quite nice too (click pic to judge for yourself). If you missed this event, be sure to note the dates of next year’s race... Ooops, they forgot to enter the new dates on our Event Planner. Now that we bring up the subject. Is the event you find important already in our overview? If not fill in this form right now. From (own) experience we know that people plan 1 year to 3 months before if they join or participate in an event.
