The event is one big disappointment. !!
Even getting there by S-Bahn is a disaster. There is no sign anywhere and if you get off at the wrong stop at the fair, you have to walk around the entire fair. It's only a 40-minute walk.
I have been a regular visitor to Schloss Dyk but this was the first time at Messe Düsseldorf and also the last time.
They can't do it and this event will never have a certain charm and flair, unfortunately.

Die Veranstaltung ist eine einzige Enttäuschung. !!
Selbst das Erreichen mit der S- Bahn ist eine Katastrophe. Nirgends ein Hinweisschild und wenn man bei der Messe falsch aussteigt, darf man einmal komplett um die Messe laufen. Dauert ja nur 40 Minuten zu Fuß.
Ich bin regelmäßiger Besucher von Schloss Dyk gewesen aber das war das erste mal Messe Düsseldorf und auch das letzte Mal.
Die können es leider nicht und diese Veranstaltung wird auch nie einen gewissen Charme und Flair haben, leider.

I agree with Michael. Not only the unique atmosphere is gone, the organization also leaves much to be desired. Many prewar cars that once showed have been replaced by new timers. It only becomes more commercial. Pity.

For me, with the new location the unique magic of the Classic Days is gone. You just cannot replace a moated castle and a historic garden with a parking lot. Attached is a photo I took in 2016 - those were the days...

Vielleicht wäre es doch eine bessere Idee, nächstes Jahr nach Baden Baden in Deutschland zu reisen? Vom 8. bis 10. Juli fand ein perfektes Oldtimer-Treffen in wunderschöner Umgebung statt. Die Reise wert!
