Claudette Colbert – The Sequel

When last week we confessed that we had never heard of actress Claudette Colbert, it created a storm of protests. Especially her movie “It Happened one night” in which she played with Clark Cable was mentioned as a very good one. The picture is about a spoiled heiress, running away from her family and she is helped by a man who's actually a reporter looking for a story. The movie includes a hitchhiking scene and after watching this we now understand the photo above that was sent to us some time ago by Tony Hillyard. At that time we didn't understand he was paraphrasing the famous scene. Now that we do, we must surely try to find a copy of that movie!

Learning more about Pam Hillyard is easier. All you have to do is order the 2012 Proper Cars, True Ladies calendar. Pam is one of our 'February ladies'.
