Paris, February 14th, 2025 – In the prestigious setting of the Hôtel des Arts et Métiers (the school where Emile Delahaye graduated), the Delahaye Club organised, on February 6th, one of the unmissable events of the Rétromobile show week: its annual Grand Dîner, a memorable evening that brought together 58 enthusiasts and collectors around an exceptional programme.
The evening began with a presentation on Delahaye's three victories in the Monte Carlo Rally by Jean-Paul Tissot, renowned historian and honorary president of the club, a special moment that immersed the guests in the glorious history of the marque, but the surprise of the evening was still waiting outside. An impromptu arrival left its mark: a genuine Delahaye 135S, number 47188, an exceptional racing car that belonged to Rob Walker. Its current owner, an American member of the club, travelled by road to offer guests a moment to admire the mechanical masterpiece.
With this evening combining heritage, knowledge and society, the Delahaye Club is proud to have played a part in the events of the Rétromobile week. It was an event that will remain etched in the memories of the participants and which demonstrated the Club's enthusiasm for promoting Delahaye's heritage.
