Come back in China of De Dion Bouton (UPDATE: a crowd of DDB in Beijing) .

Glad to report something pleasant from China, after all recent sad news. Scott Barton wrote us about the sale of his 1906 De Dion-Bouton. The buyer is Chinese and China is where the car is going to!
We are looking forward to see the first picture of the De Dion-Bouton in front of the Zhongnanhai (the Headquarters of the Chinese Government). We think it was in 1907 when the last De Dion-Bouton drove through Beijing .... (photo Scott Barton)
UPDATE by Jon Baker. Contrary to our beliefs Beijing is crowded with de Dion Bouton cars.... Well, that is to say, that was so in 2005 (check) when two of those cars were there.
