Dick Trenk

We are sorry to report that our jury member Dick Trenk died on June 27th. Dick was an avid supporter of PreWarCar and we always relied on him to point us in the right direction. Apart from being an automobile enthusiast and restorer, Dick was also a generous man as proved by giving away his precious Peerless cuff links. Dick will be missed. His mailbox will be monitored by his widow for incoming messages from friends around the world.

My father is missed by thousands I'm sure. He was an educator of many subjects in life. Old cars and old guns were two of his favorite subjects. He is survived by his wife, two sons, three grandkids and three great grandkids. He was 81 YRS. old and had a full life of adventure. I love him and always will.

Although I have only known Dick's name when perusing the Jury list, I can understand his brother's comments. As a "new" Jury member, I too enjoy the challenge and am proud to join the ranks. Deepest sympathy to this wife and family. Get those cars revvin' up there, Dick, and we will have some fun when my time comes.

My brother, Dick Trenk, enjoyed the challenges of figuring out what vehicles were pictured, and was very proud when he became a jury member. I hope there are cars in heaven!
