Do you prefer an EVO I , II or III Maser?

This Maserati - chassis 1518 - started it's career as a 4 CS works racer in 1933. The next year the factory renewed the car, gave it chassis 1520, added hydraulic brakes and sold it as new. In 1936 the Maserati works installed engine 6 CM nr. 1530 into chassis nr. 1520. And so on. This was for Swiss driver Hans Rüesch (Leif Schnellman's pages). The interesting thing is that the car was changed and developed so many times during it's prewar racing career, that during the actual restoration one can choose which direction to take. Even with the type of coachwork. Single seater, 2 seater or why not both? A great project for somebody who doesn't need to drive within two weeks from now. When interested go to Baynton Jones Historic Motorsport and ask for the full story. (photo during 1936 Prix de Bern with Hans Rüesch, from collection Adriano Cimarosti)
