Don't click the photo when you are over eighty !

See this lovely 12/50 Alvis. A perfect touring toy, until quite recently she gently tried to push a Landrover from the road. Though it was an interesting test, it was not a wise decision..., resulting in a photo not suited for the faint hearted or for people with a weakness for Alvis (they don't click the pic). So sad. Too bad. It was all too much for the owner, he didn't want to go on with this marriage (see New Listings). He even took out the heart of the Alvis and set course to another bride. In the meantime experts did their job and found that the car is hurt but not broken. The chassis underwent the so-called drop test (see 'Read More' for explanation) and is found to be OK. So in terms of damage it is the front suspension and right wing that will need most attention. And then find an engine of course. (photo Guy Walker)
