This is the first in a new series of driving experiences. This one sent by a US Billancourt fan, Keith Canouse who has a specific appetite for European formal sedans. Introducing his exactly 90 years + 11 days old fresh Renault type 'ED' which he consistently calls RENO: "The car left Billancourt APRIL 8 1914. On that same day it was was shipped to the New York selling branch where it received this body by the coach building firm Locke and Company for the owner of the Hope diamond mine. Except for a repaint 15 years ago the car is original including the interior and all fitments. The car participated in several Glidden tours post WW II and was owned for many years by Henri Austin Clark (StanleyMuseum.org).' Enough for histroy, Keith bought the car not to park in his garden or museum but to take it out. And that's what he's doing. Now what to expect from a 90 year old 'Espace'?
