No, it wasn’t this Tatra rounding the pylons that reminded us of a white sausage, but read on... The photo was taken during the first edition of the ‘Regio-Sprint’ held in the scenic ‘Altmühltal’ in Germany in which 163 antique and classic cars took part. Organized by the Donau Classic, the ‘sprint’ consisted of a 160 kilometre long route on picturesque routes, interrupted by control points and driving-tests. The focus of this ‘sprint’ is not about being the fastest, but the prize goes to the team most skilled and especially the one that can answer the most questions about the route. Or in other words: It’s Fun!
The next one is planned for April 30 starting with a white sausage breakfast!
