Letter to the editor
Some pictures of my friend's car, early 20s FIAT. He is seeking for info about car. We do not exactly know which model my friend has. Car is flathead around 2.000ccm. It could be 507 as the car is a four cylinder.
We are looking for: a rear lamp, a rear-view mirror, a dynamo, a starter and all possible documentation.
Chassis number: 7203111. Engine number: 107-7103536.

Ciao, complimenti per la bella macchina e auguri di buon divertimento per il suo restauro ! Se puo` esserti utile ecco i numeri di telaio corrispondenti all`anno di costruzione. 1926 dal 7200001 al 7202419 1927 dal 7202420 al 7203701. Dispongo di diversi pezzi di meccanica per la 507 ma sfortunatamente non quelli che chiedi. Tanti saluti. PS parlo solo Italiano !!

Buongiorno Sig. Dario, mi intrometto nella discussione per chiederle un'informazione, nella FIAT 505 a parte la targhetta identificativa, dove si trova il numero di telaio nello chassis?

Hello, your car is a 507 with tipo 107 engine.
I have a 501 chassis in which the chassis number states the production date but the bigger models had a different digit system. I think the carburetor, Marelli MP4 magneto and starter are the same as in 501 and 503. The 507 also shares many parts with 505, 510 and 512 as well as the 505F and 507F trucks with heavier chassis.
There are several Fiat 507 enthusiasts that follow the Prewarcar.com and I hope many of them will soon take contact with you.
Good luck with your hunt, parts will be scarce, but it is a very beautiful and well built car.
