Five Ladies dressed for a Mathis (Update: 1925/26 Opel)

When we look at this picture of five ladies around a Mathis we wonder what is the occasion? Their uniform dresses may be for school but their varying degrees of happiness tell us it's something else.  Not glamorous enough for five bridesmaids off to wedding, but there's an air of expectancy and the photographer has taken long enough to attract the attention of junior in the window behind. Perhaps you will recognise the dress design and remember which country they belong to? Or which city/town? Or which successful car-dealer had five daughters? Please let us know, and we are always ready for more details about the small berline !

To me this car isn´t a Mathis but a 1924 Opel like this one: http://www.autogallery.org.ru/k/o/25op4-16PSlim.jpg

Wings, radiator and headlights are characteristic of Opel, I think.

Looks like the 10hp Mathis "Economique"/
5 Seat, 4 Cylinder, 4 speed, disc wheels 710 x 90.
With a meagre consumption of 6-7 litres per 100km (43 mpg).
I thought that they were schoolgirls at first, seeing that they are all wearing the same dresses, but my wife assures me that their ages range from the woman behind the front wing (35) to the girl sitting on the running board (17).
And the child at the window ? (5-7)
Was the owner a Merchant Sea Captain perhaps ?
