Four ladies and their aeroplane radiator cap mystery

Not one but 4 ladies this Friday. There is not much known about this photo. It looks like the tallest woman is carrying something what looks like a melon. Or is it something else? She is possibly the maid, as she is wearing an apron. But on the other hand, she is very close to the lady on her left. Well, instead of thinking of this matter; let us concentrate on the car. A difficult one it looks. But the aeroplane radiator cap might be a clue. We know there were some Fords that have those caps, but are those Ford wheels? Please give us your thoughts.
Have a happy weekend!

It is possible that this is a "studio portrait", the backdrop clouded in comparison to the crisp detail to the front. If so, the guesses should lead to the portrait answer. A football with taped laces?

That looks like an Australian Gumtree in the background . As for the car i,ll have a guess at a 1919 Essex or Velie. Emu egg is for breakfast.

It looks to me like lady no.2 is wearing some type of 'duster' coat with a fold over button up flap and is holding what might be a prize winning gourd. Ladies 3 and 4 look to be holding gardening tools over their shoulders. The car could be one of a million different things.
