Last year when we visited the Beaulieu Autojumble we had a discussion with one of the newly-appointed staff members, who attended the autojumble for the first time. She stared at the numerous visitors browsing the many fields loaded with all kinds of parts and said to us in amazement: “It all looks like rubbish to me.”
We looked at her and replied: We’ll let you in on a secret. It is!”
But then we all know there’s another secret and that’s why we visit the Beaulieu autojumble year after year… at the end of the day, we have learned how to turn rubbish into gold!
