'Frontantrieb' Audi ?

James Davis sent us this early fifties photo of his mother who was born is southern Germany. The pictured Audi is probably one of the early 'Frontantrieb' (frontwheel drive) Audi's that were built between 1931 and early forties. This one being a convertible sedan. Which Audi expert, why not - the Audi historians themselves ? (Audi.com) - can more or less excactly point out year and type of this early 'A6'. A brochure of the FWD Audi is to be found at Auto Magner Chronik when you scroll down at that page (Magner-net.de). (photo from family album James Davis)
