You may have heard of last weekends record sale at Bonhams Goodwood auction. The breathtaking figure was paid for a used Merc. More precise, the ex George Milligen 'staggeringly original and unmolested' 1929 short wheel base 7,1 Litre Mercedes-Benz SSK. Check the full story (Bonhams.com). We don't want to imply that the above Jaguar SS 2,5 Litre barnfind will realise a comparable record during this weekends Bonhams's auction at Beaulieu. But the right prewar cars are appreciating rapidly. Visiting live auctions is fun again, bringing buckets full of adrenaline. Way out better then clicking virtual shares at a virtual stock exchange.
