Granddad's Packard trunk. (UPDATE by James Pearsall))

(see Read More to read about the meaning of the letter K inside the trunk) by Albie Scott: 'My grandfather was an engineer, originally from Ohio. His father was a pioneer, and preacher and educator to Indians. He was a partner one of the largest and most prestigious engineering firms on the East Coast) and was the lead designer of several factory buildings for the Naumkeag Cotton Mills in Salem, Massachusetts, built at the turn of the century. These factory buildings were revolutionary, because they were designed expressly to increase worker productivity by improving working conditions, something unheard of at the time.
