Help identify a 90–100-year-old pre-war automobile suitcase
Letter to the editor
Hello,
I am trying to identify an old suitcase which is believed to be approximately 90–100 years old and most likely an automobile suitcase. It has Sudhaus locks made in Iserlohn, Germany.
I have already contacted the Mercedes-Benz archive, but unfortunately they were unable to identify it.
The unusual curved shape suggests that it may have been specially made to fit the body or luggage area of a pre-war car. I would be very grateful if any of your readers could recognize it or help identify which car it may have belonged to.
