By Guillermo Iacona: Many shall not be familiar with the story of La Hispano Argentina Fábrica de Automóviles, since it will be largely remembered due to the manufacture of weapons such as rifles and automatic pistols than by its cars. In 1929, Mr. Arturo Ballester Janer and Engineer Eugenio Molina founded La Hispano – Argentina Fábrica de Automóviles Sociedad Anónima (H.A.F.D.A.S.A.) with the aim of assembling cars and trucks Hispano Suiza, as well as manufacturing spare parts for those and other cars.
