Ho appena acquistato due distributori di qualità e non ho idea di quali auto possano andare bene. Mi chiedevo se qualche lettore del mondo prebellico potesse aiutarmi. Il più piccolo è un prodotto Bosch con numero di parte VA6BS30. È per un'auto a 6 cilindri e ha due serie di punti di contatto che funzionano entrambi allo stesso tempo. Ha una camma a 6 lobi. L'altro è un prodotto DELCO CONTISOUZA PARIS. Ha una camma a 8 lobi e un singolo set di punte. La calotta dello spinterogeno è per un modello a 4 cilindri, quindi presumo che non sia corretta per questo spinterogeno, tuttavia si adatta perfettamente. Qualsiasi aiuto sarebbe apprezzato.

The Bosch VA6BS30 is correct for a 1928 Alfa Romeo 6C1500 single cam.

Thank you for your identification of my Bosch distributor on PreWarCar. It's Mark and Audrey Miller here, friends of Tony Clarke, if you remember you made a beautiful pair of wind deflectors for my Type 43 some time ago. I can't find your e-mail address so hope you read this reply. I have a set of brake shoes that came from the same source that may be Alfa, if you get in touch I will send some photos. The Continsouza distributor is for a Bugatti Type 30, flange-mounted to the firewall. The cap is, as you say, not correct. The original cap was shared only by some rare cars (the Lafayette V8 and some Duesenberg racing cars) but replacements that will fit exist.
I know of a Type 30 that would need it if you would part with it.
