It is time to change the oil and fire up the engines!

Ok ok, we know there is more to do than changing the oil to prepare your car for the Laurence Pomeroy`s formula. But it is just the title of this feature…

On the 16th of February, it is time for the kick off of the race season! The 64th Pomeroy Trophy will be organised by the Vintage Sports Car Club (VSCC). Once again the event will return to the heart of the United Kingdom, the Silverstone circuit.

But what does this Laurence Pomeroy`s formula involve? During this unique event, the PreWarCars and PostWarClassics will be marked on their speed in a High-Speed Regularity Time Trail, the agility of the cars will be tested, just as the braking capabilities of the vehicle. On the end of the day, the Pomeroy Trophy will be awarded to the overall winner of the event – the ultimate Touring Car.

Unfortunately, you cannot enter anymore for the event. But you are more than welcome to come and watch the spectacle on this real Grand Prix Circuit. Wake up early on Saturday the 16th, because the day starts at 9am!
