Just another snapshot?

This charming picture of a proud owner and his 1926(?) Renault Berline was sent to us by Bob Apalsch. We understand the photo was taken in Latvia (check flags). Not the most average place to find a car like that. We think it also tells us a bit about the ambitions of the Billancourt company. And about the reliability of their products. Take note of the refinement of the wooden summer(?) house behind the car. Is it a daitscha? The man is dressed fine for the occasion. Church? And if you look close at the large photo (click!) you will discover his wife is at the wheel. This is a modern man! A modern wife. A modern car. A modern country. (special thanks to Bob Apalsch)
