The Tim Harding Collection returns: even more photographic delights to be offered by Tooveys

Of all the photograph collectors in this hobby, and there are many, the late Tim Harding stood apart. In terms of quality and quantity, his collection had few rivals, with thousands of pictures spanning everything from early veterans to forgotten cyclecars and grandiose masterclasses in coachbuilding from the '20s and '30s.

Considerable excitement surrounded the first sale of the Tim Harding Collection by Tooveys in 2021, but so large and diverse was it that it had to be split into two parts, and the second part is to be sold tomorrow, November 15th. The sale is comprised of more than 100 lots, mostly arranged according to marque and containing more than 50 photographs. They cover everything from AC to Wolseley with other lots for such subjects as accidents, garages, racing, steam and so on.

The auction will take place at the Tooveys saleroom at Spring Gardens, Washington, West Sussex, RH20 3BS and will commence at midday. Anyone who cannot attend in person will be able to place bids by telephone or online, and anyone living locally is encouraged to visit the saleroom today to view the collection prior to the sale.
