A true collector will never give up. Hans Horwitz is collecting car ads about all his life and he has thousands of the very best. Ranging from the year 1900 up till the early seventies. And ranging from American Apperson to the Russian Zill. In the past he used to find many great items in disregarded magazines, nowadays he has to pay considerable money for the really interesting ones. Last week he finally found this very-very famous one featuring the 1923 Jordan Playboy that was earlier subject of one of our quizzes. Plus the nearby Lincoln High Way history(WyomingTalesandTrails). After that click the photo to enjoy the full advert - and very important, the full text. We asked Mr. Horwitz where he found the advert. As a true collector not willing to name his sources he answered with great understatement: "Somewhere West of Long Island..." (click for full advert)
