French car expert’s Fons Alkemade personal favorite is the Charron and he tries to collect as much information about this marque as possible. Recently he found this postcard of a Charron that according to the text was used as a taxi in a movie starring Julie Andrews. Further research brought Fons to the Internet Movie Cars Database (IMCD) were he found that this same Charron played a role in the 1938 Laurel & Hardy movie Swiss Miss. The Movie World Buena Park in California doesn’t exist anymore, but as the Julie Andrews movie wasn’t that long ago Fons thinks the Charron must still be around. Who can lead him to this Swiss Miss?

my partner took me to her capital city (belgrade) and there is vintage car museum , and pride of place in the centre is a very similar charron , i do have pictures some where,

I believe the film was Darling Lili, 1970,
