Looking for an Austin expert to help me.

I have a 1934 Austin 10  that I am in the process of restoring.

I am currently  getting it “vinned”  registered for roadworthiness in NZ.

I have a problem. The car was first registered in NZ in 1938, and the “VIN” people can only register it as a 1938.

I would like it registered as 1934.

Is there someone in the UK that can give me verification in writing that it is a 1934.

Hopefully there is an Austin expert that can give me proof of year.
