Mae West Zephyr ?

You may know the Mae West sofa 'Lips' (Brighton VirtualMuseum.info). It was designed by Salvador Dali and Edward James in 1938. Two years earlier Morrison came with this Lincoln Zephyr. The dusty cleavage is covering two.... banks of each 6 cylinders. Was Morrison inspired by Mae West as well or just by Lincolns high-tech cleavage? Was Dali really inspired by Mae West or by the design of Morrison. Morrison? Who was Morrison? The father of Jim Morrison? Too many questions. As we can't ask Mae West, maybe we should give a call too Lee Hartung, yes again from his great bizarre collection... (photo & info Michael Ware)
