Massive sale at Meadow Brook

This is Meadow Brook week with various highlights including the Sunday Concours d'Elegance. The day before -August 6th - this coming Saturday, will be the day for RM Auctions who organised a massive sale with close to a hundred classics, under which almost 70 prewars! Earlier you may have read about the two superior Duesenbergs that will appear. But when you have an appetite for Cadillac or Packard you won't be disappointed either. Our personal favourite is the Lincoln Zephyr Coupe, depicted above. In our view still very much underestimated. Coupes in general are underestimated. And maybe the extravaganza of this V12 is seen as being postwar. But with 1939 it most certainly is not.
