Misteriosa culla a doppio magnete.

Salve, sto cercando aiuto per identificare queste fusioni che sono entrate recentemente in mio possesso. Molto simili in linea di principio alla disposizione su una Bugatti bresciana, ma molto diversi nei dettagli. Molto probabilmente sono montati sulla paratia e azionati dalla parte posteriore di un motore monoalbero a camme in testa dell'epoca... ma quale motore?

By measuring the shaft centres and the gear clearance in the casing you should be able to work out the number of cylinders of the engine it's for. The ratio looks like it might be more than the 2:1 you would need for a four-cylinder four-stroke driven from the camshaft.
The main casting has a foot at each corner. It looks like would be attached via these with vertical bolts/studs to a horizontal platform or brackets, etc., rather directly to a vertical bulkhead. The castings looks pretty heavy for Aero?
