Mystery chassis in Canada. (upd. 1928 Model 56 Willys Knight?)

Les Richardson found this chassis in a farmers junk pile in Canada. "The frame is really solid and might make an interesting project car but I'd like to find out what it is! The number on the chassis is found on the rear, right side. There is a "56" printed sideways on the left side of the then "A2266" on the remainder. The wooden spoke wheels were the first thing that caught my eye. In the second picture the square box on top of the chassis is from an old grainery.  Anyone with an idea of what it might be or where I can start to track down the numbers would really be appreciated. "

Look at the WK website http://www.wokr.org/
If you send me an e-mail I can send you a picture of what the car looks like. I just sold my 56 3 months ago.

I think it is from a Willys Knight mod 56 from 1928 with 109-1/2inch wheel base.

I sold a Willys Knight last year that had a rivetted tag of the same style in the same location so maybe a clue there.

The hubcap on the right front wheel might be a clue. More info would be helpful - tyre size, wheelbase, cable or rod brakes, a picture of the rear axle and anyhthing that might look useful.
