Recently 'excavated' in New Zealand is this 1930 VX Vauxhall four door Limousine. The number on the firewall reads: 35112 35053 VX SA. Without any doubt this VX could write a book about its life, but after being silent so long she starts with just a few lines:"... A 1931 model, being built in 1930. hipped to NZ on a ship called the Ruahine on 28/01/1931. Unboxed and assembled in Petone and shipped to NZ Farmers, Christchurch on 18/02/1931..... Driven into the garage 30 years ago after a trip from Kaiteriteri New Zealand. Believe, could be made road worthy in a day, new battery and a clean up." According to the information of the seller this could make it the second or third oldest VX left in existence.
