Nice, but where is the car ? (UPDATE: Cord L29 cabriolet...)

Sorry, we begin to get a bit into holiday mood. See this enchanting picnic-camping postcard from Honolulu. Who doesn't want to spend a couple of hours down there today? To sit down and relax and have a bite and a cooling drink. Of course they had to bring in all that stuff somehow. Maybe after they have spent the morning in one of the dreamy resorts or on one of the splendid beaches Honolulu has (to offer). Maybe they plan to have a stroll around the harbour later on. Maybe they stayed at night in the Haleiwa Hotel (Honolulu Advertiser). For us to solve the problem, how do they get to all these places? Just like the Honolulu Fruit Gum Orchestra ? Or just simply by Car 23? (postcard Horwitz Collection)
UPDATE by mark Dawber who went as far to find out about the car of the Honolulu fruitgum orchestra being a L29 Cord cabriolet. I wasn't far out with the Auburn but those wheels bothered me - the hubs seem to stick out a long way, must be something to do with the front wheel drive. I am not exactly sure which year but I would go with 1931."
